      EPU 60

      Construction and Commissioning

      General User Beamtime

      Energy Range Category
      Soft X-Ray (0.1-1 keV)

      Energy Range
      100 eV - 2.2 keV

      Beamline Type
      Participating Research Team (PRT)

      Beamline Description
SST will have 6 unique world class NEXAFS/XPS experimental stations: 2 full field microscopes, 2 automated high-throughput stations, and 2 in-situ high pressure stations. Soft and tender beams will enable a continuous selection of X-rays from 100 eV to 7.5 keV at a common focal point in a single experiment (unique capability, enhancing depth selectivity in XPS or HAXPES).

      X-ray Absorption Micro/Nanoprobe
X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy, Near Edge Fine Structure
      X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy

  • Contact Information
    • Spokesperson The person from each beamline who acts as a contact point between the beamline management and NSLS administration. Contact for questions about the beamline scientific program, experimental capabilities, and beamline management.
